D'Arcy Spiller - Disarray EP

D’Arcy Spiller communes with her shadow self on stunning new EP, Disarray. During lockdown last year, Melbourne artist D’Arcy Spiller started having dreams. Different dreams. Like one where her mum was drowning and when she called her up the next morning, Spiller discovered her mum had been having water problems around the house. As the worldwide shutdown continued, and D’Arcy was confined to her tiny inner-city apartment alone, these empathic kinds of things kept happening more and more. With no outside world to roam around, explore and connect with, Spiller started to look within, investigating the hidden depths of her inner self. With Disarray, Spiller announces herself as an artist unafraid to take risks and push the boundaries of her sound into challenging and sometimes uncomfortable places. The results are flawless, thrilling and endlessly rewarding. Balancing light with dark, beautiful with harsh, D’Arcy’s musical world reflects her personal one.

Co-Produced and mixed by Geoff Swan (Charli XCX, Caroline Polachek, daine), K Karma Written with Oscar Dawson (Holy Holy) and Ali Barter.
